Run retained mandates end to end — calibration, mapping, assessment and close — with direct exposure to the founders and to client leadership.

What you'll do

Own mandates from briefing through to onboarding, rather than a stage of someone else's process.
Run the calibration conversation with clients, including the uncomfortable part where the role as written turns out not to be the role they need.
Conduct depth-first candidate conversations and structured assessment, and carry the back-channel referencing yourself.
Manage offer and close, including counter-offer and internal equity conversations.

Five or more years in executive search, talent advisory, or a senior in-house talent role
Has closed leadership mandates and can talk credibly about the ones that went wrong
Able to hold a candid position with a CXO who outranks you
